Ann Grauer, a postpartum doula, with more than 30 years of experience. She’s also been a guest on the podcast before talking about postpartum doulas. Today she joined us to talk a bit about what new families need in the time of COVID-19 and how postpartum doulas can meet those needs, even when they can’t be together physically.

A past president of DONA International (2003-05), Ann created Wisconsin’s first hospital-based doula program and has consulted for programs in other states. She trains birth and postpartum doulas through DONA International and Lamaze educators through NYC Lamaze. The 2007 recipient of Lamaze International’s prestigious Elisabeth Bing Award, Ann is a mom of two adults and Mamaw to one spirited granddaughter.
